November 1st, 2007 - A New Name for Connected Platforms

For the last 13 years Cyclone Computer Systems has provided a variety of IT services to Northwest companies and organizations. Today, I'm pleased to share with you great news about Cyclone, in that we have formally spun off from our former parent company, Hepieric, Inc.

We are now doing business as Connected Platforms, Inc.

Connected Platforms will continue to provide high-quality and cost-effective IT infrastructure management to small and medium-sized companies in Oregon and Washington. We help clients to maximize their IT investments while freeing them from IT management so they can focus on their core business.

Our new name reflects our commitment to deliver the best in Professional IT Services to businesses and organizations in the Northwest.

We are excited about the future and look forward to continuing to deliver excellent service to our customers.

  

September 1st, 2007 - Connected Platforms Purchases Cyclone Computer Systems

On September 1, 2007 Connected Platforms, Inc. purchased the Cyclone Computers business unit from CorSource, Inc. Cyclone was a locally owned and operated company that was created in 1992, with the objective to help small and medium sized enterprises. Their services included assembling computers, wiring networks, performing maintenance of computer systems, etc.

In 2004, Cyclone was purchased by CorSource and made an independent business unit at that time. In 2006, CorSource purchased Prescient Software, LLC and merged it into the Cyclone Computers business unit. Prescient Software worked on software development design in many areas including web site design and hosting. This combined business unit is what was sold to Connected Platforms.

Connected Platforms, Inc. is a Nevada corporation, and CorSource, Inc. is an Oregon corporation who is involved in IT staff augmentation (with its ProDX business unit) and software application development and maintenance projects (with its Agilis Solutions business unit).
