Jay Richards - President
|
|
Richards founded Connected Platforms through a spin-out of Cyclone Computer Systems from Portland-based software development and IT consulting firm, CorSource, where he was the CEO. Before that, he was senior vice-president of Operations for Mentor Graphics. Before joining Mentor, he founded and subsequently sold a successful company, CADTEC, which developed software for architecture, construction, and engineering. Previously, Richards was the vice-president of Engineering and then the COO of Sequent Computer Systems. He joined Sequent after many years at HP, where he managed the 1,400-employee Spectrum Program, which produced HP's first 32-bit RISC computer. Before that, Richards directed a research center in HP Laboratories and developed the basic patents for HPs family of inkjet printers. Previously, Richards spent 18 years at IBM managing hardware and software development projects. He holds an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University.

Walter H. Yeaw - Group Vice President
|
|
During 39 years in data processing, Yeaw's responsibilities have ranged from programming, analysis and project management to managing consulting organizations, developing strong client and vendor relationships and forming a consulting firm, Delta Systems. Over 36 years of this experience has been in professional services. Responsibilities included the role of technical consultant, project manager, account manager, senior account manager, branch manager, senior management and founder and president of Delta Systems (1992-2009).
Prior to Delta System, Yeaw was branch manager for Cap Gemini America. He was responsible for the profitable development of consulting services to address client requirements. Yeaw was involved in initial client marketing of the firm and service offerings, where he identified business needs and developed data processing solutions.

David McKay - Controller
|
|
McKay joined Connected Platforms from Larkin Memorial Corporation of Salt Lake City, Utah, where he was a manager and controller, responsible for helping to streamline the 122-year-old company's financial processes and revamp its customer service functions. He was also responsible for the daily operation of one of the corporation's subsidiaries. McKay holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Utah, a B.S. in Aviation Science from Utah Valley State College, and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.

Colby Barron - Director of Corporate Services
|
|
Barron joined Connected Platforms from Harland Financial Solutions where he was a Senior Manager and oversaw the development of Internet-based products. Before that, Barron was the General Manager of the Portland operation of NW Link, which had acquired Europa Communications, Inc., one of Oregon's first, largest, and most successful Internet service providers. Barron founded and was president of Europa. As a recognized expert on web-based technology, Barron is a popular speaker on Internet and web technology. He holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Oregon.

Brian Knotts - Services Development Manager
|
|
Knotts was most recently the director of Engineering for Priescient Software, LLC, where he developed extranet software for the financial services and insurance industries. Before that, he was a product administrator for Harland Financial Solutions and developed web sites and Internet-based products. Previously, Knotts administered and implemented web sites, applications, and related technologies at Europa Communications, Inc. Earlier, he provided IT implementation and technical direction for KIEM-TV in Eureka, California, and introduced new technologies while managing programming and personnel at KPGA-FM in San Luis Obispo, California. He holds a B.A. in Speech Communication from Humboldt State University.

Michael Crawford - Business Development Executive
|
|
Mr. Crawford has been active for over 25 years in the business development, merger and acquisition (M&A) profession. Before joining Connected Platforms, he founded Northwest Funds Group, a regional M&A firm. Prior to that, he held director-level positions at two publicly-traded companies: Integrated Measurement Systems, an international high-tech capital equipment manufacturer with 150 employees, which went public during his tenure, and American Network, a national long-distance telephone company with over 200 employees. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Portland State University. Mr. Crawford has been a guest speaker on the subject of strategic planning, M&A, and equity valuations.

Bill Terry - Business Development Executive
|
|
Mr. Terry’s IT experience started in the 1980 and 90’s in Europe with Honeywell as a Field Engineer, where he received the “WINGS” award for his achievements in IT support. He was selected with a few others in managing the European IT service center based in Germany, which repaired all US Army PCs and laptop computers used in the “Desert Storm” conflict. He left Honeywell to accept a position as Senior Account Manager for Zenith Data Systems handling all technical sales for the U.S. Army and NATO organizations throughout Europe. Then he returned to the U.S. accepting a similar technical sales position with Xerox Corporation. He later joined Ming International, Inc. as their Vice President of Sales which conducted business in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. He then founded Intermountain Dealer Services, Inc. and was President for 8 years until he sold the company. Mr. Terry joins Connected Platforms from his position of Vice President of Sales at Allman Consulting, which offers Sales & Business Consulting Services. He holds a B.S. Degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland.
